EA's Madden 27 guide describes building a roster around playstyle and improving lineup ratings and chemistry. Chemistry is counted from the lineup a player actually has equipped, not from every card sitting in the binder. An NFL team label printed on a card does not by itself prove a chemistry contribution.
Swapping a card out of a lineup can break a set that card was committed to, so the card itself has to be checked in MUT before the swap. MUTher inference: use the equipped lineup and the rules EA states, and name the check the player has to make rather than guessing the number.
