MUTher is in beta — we're still working out kinks. The Chrome extension, MUTher Link, is on the Chrome Web Store.

Install MUTher Link

Connect your EA account to your MUTher account from Chrome on your computer. Your EA password is only ever typed on EA’s own website.

Install the extension

  1. Select Add to Chrome on the MUTher Link listing, then pin it from Chrome’s Extensions menu so you can open its popup.
  2. Open MUTher Settings and create an account or sign in.
  3. Select Link EA account, and sign in with EA in the tab that opens. Chrome updates the extension itself from now on.

Link your EA account

MUTher issues a one-time code from your own signed-in session and hands it to the extension; the extension never reads your MUTher account. Enter your EA password only on EA’s website.

Settings shows the connection as soon as EA confirms it. Then open Binder and select Sync to pull your cards.

Linking from a browser profile that is not signed in to MUTher, or the extension did not answer? Generate a pairing code in Settings and paste it under Have a pairing code? in the popup.

EA linking may be unavailable while the integration is being configured. Settings shows its current availability. A complete sign-in and binder sync with a real account still needs operator validation.

If linking does not finish

Check the extension popup for an error. If your code expired, generate a new one in Settings and start again. Keep the EA tab open until the extension confirms the result.

The EA sign-in flow redirects to a loopback address on your computer. Chrome may display an unavailable page there; check the extension and Settings for the actual linking result.

Do not share pairing codes or EA authorization details. You can disconnect EA in Settings and remove the extension at chrome://extensions.

Installing an unpacked build (developers)
Download MUTher Link 0.2.7 ZIP
  1. Download the ZIP and extract it to a folder you will keep on this computer.
  2. Open chrome://extensions in Chrome and turn on Developer mode.
  3. Select Load unpacked and choose the extracted folder containing manifest.json.
  4. Pin MUTher Link from Chrome’s Extensions menu so you can open its popup.

An unpacked build is not updated by Chrome: download and extract a new version, then select Reload on the extension’s card. Its Chrome id also changes with the folder it is loaded from, so Settings may not reach it with one click — generate a pairing code there and paste it in the popup.
