The wiki

The wiki is what MUTher has read about Madden NFL 27 Ultimate Team. It is where the coach's rules come from — every marker and every chat answer is written against these pages, not against a model's memory of last year's game.

It is a different kind of page from the one you are reading. These docs are written. The Madden pages are compiled, by a job, from sources, and they are rewritten whenever a source says something new.

How a Madden page is compiled

Once an hour, MUTher fetches the sources in its registry — EA's own help and news pages, EA's game data from real syncs, and the community sites it keeps a list of — and stores only what has actually changed since the last run. A relevance gate throws out anything that is not about Madden.

A model then pulls claims out of what came back. Nothing is written unless the quote appears verbatim in the page it came from. A claim the model produced that no quote supports is recorded as caught and publishes nothing.

When those claims change what a page says, the run compiles a new revision. A run that finds nothing new compiles nothing — which is why a page's "last improved" date is the last time the wiki genuinely learned something, not the last time a job ran.

Verified and reported

Every claim on a page carries one of two badges.

• Verified — EA states it, or at least two independent sources with a combined trust weight of 1.2 or more do.
• Reported — at least one source states it, quoted. EA has not, and the sources behind it do not reach the verified bar.

The weights are published on the wiki home: EA official 1.0 (enough on its own), a blogger 0.7 (two of them, on different sites, clear the bar), community 0.3.

Reported claims are not hidden. They are gathered under What players are reporting, tagged by what kind of statement each is — a leak, a creator's opinion, a market observation — with the page saying plainly that MUTher has not checked them against EA.

When two sources flatly disagree, MUTher does not pick. The page shows both sides as a contested pair, each with its own sources, its own date and its own evidence.

Sources, and checking any sentence

Every claim lists the sources behind it and the weight each carries. Every source is a link you can open. Each claim also has a what this is based on disclosure with the address, the published date and when MUTher first saw it.

Every page keeps its revision history, with a word-level diff between any two revisions, so a page that rewrites itself every hour can be audited. A wiki that changes under you is only trustworthy if the changes are visible.

What the wiki will not tell you

Nothing on a Madden page describes one owned copy. What a card still needs is on the card itself in MUT. No price and no market read appears there — prices live on Market, where they carry the time they were seen.

Reporting a wrong fact

If a page says something that is not true of Madden 27, tell us — the loop will happily compile a wrong claim forever if nobody says so. Write to [email protected] with the page, the sentence and, if you have one, a source that contradicts it. It also helps to say whether the sentence is badged verified or reported: a wrong *verified* claim means a source MUTher trusts is wrong, which is a bigger problem than a wrong leak.

The wiki answers at muther.app/wiki, and on wiki.muther.app where it is the whole site. These docs sit under the same chrome and answer the same search box — the search results keep the two apart, so you always know whether you are reading something we wrote or something a source said.
